PAS denies being given orders to nominate second MB candidate

PETALING JAYA: PAS said the Sultan of Selangor has not directed the party to nominate a second mentri besar candidate to replace Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.

In a statement issued by Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, who is the political secretary of party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, he said Abdul Hadi had sought an audience with Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah in conjunction with Hari Raya and that no orders were issued by the Ruler on the Selangor mentri besar position during the audience.
