Ex-wives stop man from marrying again

A MAN’s plan to marry for a third time was dashed when his two ex-wives lodged a complaint against him in Taiping, Perak, reported Malaysian Nanban.

The 37-year-old man from Padang Serai in Kedah had previously married a woman, identified only as Suganthi. He later left her to marry another woman, Malini.

He left Malini too after she delivered a baby. He was planning to take a third wife chosen by his family when the two women managed to stop him.

Both lodged police reports against the man for cheating and leaving them in a dilemma.

> A woman who went missing from a train when she was only six was reunited with her parents in Patna, North India – after 17 years.

Tamil Nesan reported that Gudiya went missing while travelling on an express train to Guwahati to visit her grandfather in April 1997. She was accompanied by her uncle.

The uncle had left her alone on the train when it stopped at Barauni railway station to buy meals for them but failed to get on board again as the train had left.

Gudiya travelled on alone where police officials found her and placed her in a children’s home as she was not able to furnish details about her family. All she knew was that her uncle worked in a biscuit factory near a railway crossing in front of her house.

Neelakshi Sarma, an official at the Assam state child protection society and who had developed a close relationship with Gudiya, managed to trace her uncle through the factory.
