IIUM debaters bring home trophy from New Zealand

PETALING JAYA: It was a proud moment for The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) when its debaters became the AustralAsian Intervarsity Debating Champions (English Second Language (ESL) category) for the second year running.

The tournament, held from June 28 to July 10, hosted by New Zealand’s Otago University, had 86 teams from Asia, Australia and New Zealand vying for the gold.
