Lawyer suffocates in attempt to rescue puppies from metre-deep hole


KOTA KINABALU: A 28-year-old lawyer who went to rescue a litter of puppies suffocated and died inside a hole in the ground near his house in Kg Pisang Babah in Penampang.

Jay Ferrer Jeffrey Linjungan (pic) was found by a family member stuck inside a metre deep hole with his legs protruding outside the hole with the entrance width about 45cm (18 inches).
