ALOR GAJAH: Police will only act over the use of the word “Allah” in Selangor if the state’s Islamic Religious Department (Jais) requests intervention.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said this was because Islamic religious matters were under the jurisdiction of the state government.
