Muhyiddin: State education depts to get authority to approve school building projects

KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry will give more authority to state education departments to speed up building projects in schools.

Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said state education department directors will soon be able to directly approve construction and maintenance projects worth up to RM5mil in schools.
