Six-year-old child in coma after falling of Ferris Wheel


GEORGE TOWN: A six-year-old child is reported to be in a coma after falling off a Ferris Wheel at the Sungai Nibong funfair early Sunday morning. 

Timur Laut deputy police chief Supt Ismail Idris said the child, Mohamad Khairul Naimme Abu Kassim, fell from the wheel at 12.50am.

"We received a report from the victim's father who is also running a business at the funfair at 4.15am and immediately ordered operations to stop until investigations are completed," said Ismail.

He said the child suffered internal injuries and was admitted to the Penang Hospital. -Bernama
