PETALING JAYA: Just a month short of the 20th anniversary of the Highland Towers tragedy, a low-budget movie on the event has struck it rich.
The movie Highland Tower has already earned RM3.3mil in Malaysia since its opening on Oct 31. The takings are even more impressive considering that the movie is only showing in 49 cinemas nationwide instead of the usual 70 cinemas.
