Affin Group turns 50 and its universe brings lifestyle, shopping and live entertainment together under roof at Mitec


AFFIN Group (“AFFIN” or “the Group”) is redefining the weekend experience with AFFIN Universe. This two-day lifestyle destination transforms MITEC Kuala Lumpur into a vibrant showcase of entertainment, culture and discovery as the corporation turns 50 this year.

Taking place on Feb 7-8 (Saturday and Sunday), from 10.00am to 10.00pm, the AFFIN Universe Anniversary Showcase event is designed as a full-day immersive experience rather than a conventional exhibition.

Visitors can expect a dynamic mix of live performances, celebrity appearances, interactive zones and experiential showcases that encourage exploration and meaningful engagement.

With a diverse line-up spanning automotive, travel, fashion and food, the showcase is organised into various themed zones, allowing guests to move seamlessly through a curated journey of contemporary lifestyle experiences.

The weekend programme features performances and appearances by Hael Husaini, Marsha Milan, Mimifly, Dato’ Sri Aliff Syukri, Wani Kayrie, Afieq Shazwan, Puteri Khareeza, Imran Aqil, Atita Haris, Fiza Sabjahan, Fedtri Yahya, Fizi Ali, Dato’ Fazley and Dr. Soo Winci among others, alongside a special ‘Let’s Talk’ segment by Sarimah Ibrahim and Marriott Bonvoy.

A major highlight includes a rare reunion of two of Malaysia’s leading financial podcasts, Financial Faiz and Mr. Money TV, coming together for a live session.
