40,000 hardcore criminals on cops' wanted list


CYBERJAYA: About 40,000 gangsters believed to be involved in violent crimes across the country have their names listed under the nationwide police operation called 'Ops Cantas'.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Datuk Seri Mohd Bakri Zinin said police would continue with the operation until the violent crime rate in the country dropped.
