Johor FA announce new faces for Johor Darul Takzim

JOHOR BARU:  Johor FA has announced changes in the Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) team, with former Valencia and Atletico Madrid manager Cesar Ferrando Jimenez set to replace head coach Fandi Ahmad.

In a statement, Johor FA president Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim added that besides Cesar, the association is likely to hire Juan Manuel Lillo Diez, designer of the famed 4-2-3-1 formation and mentor to current Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola in an advisory role.

He also said that former Argentine international Pablo Aimar is "almost certain" to sign with the JDT team for next season.

"Fandi is still with the team and his new role is assistant coach to Jimenez," he added.
