Dell appointed venue security officer for World Cup

PETALING JAYA: Former international footballer Datuk Dell Akbar Khan is set to become the first police officer to serve at the FIFA World Cup when he heads for the finals in South Africa next month.

The former FA of Malaysia (FAM) secretary-general has been ap­­pointed FIFA venue security officer and will be based in Durban next month.
