Aishwarya and Vivek finally break up

BOLLYWOOD actress Aishwarya Rai and actor Vivek Oberoi have finally broken up, reported Tamil Nesan and Malaysia Nanban. 

It had been reported earlier that the two Hindi movie stars were set to tie the knot soon – Rai's mother, it appeared, was not happy about their prolonged courtship as the former Miss World was already 32. 

Vivek, 29, had originally wanted to put off the marriage until he had made a bigger mark in the film industry. 

Cracks in the relationship had also surfaced because Rai objected strongly to Oberoi making their love affair public. 

Oberoi, on the other hand, was deeply hurt that she had refused to comment on their relationship while away in foreign countries working on English films.  

According to the dailies, Rai had broken off with Bollywood actor Salman Khan several years back.
