Actress Almy Nadia recalls struggles with weight gain

Actress Almy Nadia has admitted to being under a lot of pressure to get back into shape after giving birth to her daughter. “I have cried in front of my child, husband and mother because I wanted to be slim again. I couldn't stand the criticism over my physical appearance." Almy and husband Fizz Fairuz welcomed their first child, Afrina Arianna, in February. She said she couldn't take health supplements initially because her newborn daughter had jaundice. Fizz has since bought her a home sauna, which Almy uses five times a week. She said this has helped her slim down. "I will do it slowly because I am still breastfeeding my child," she said, adding that her goal was to bring her weight down to 50kg.

A couple, aged 17 and 22, were arrested for having sex in a car, along the Kuantan-Segamat Highway. Segamat OCPD Supt Mohd Kamil Sukani said two motorcycle patrol units were dispatched to the scene upon complaints about a Proton Wira parked in the bush. "Police approached the vehicle and saw the pair having sex on the front passenger seats, which were pushed down," he said. The patrolmen knocked on the car window but instead of giving their cooperation, the half-naked suspects fled in the car. However, they stopped a few kilometres later. Both were remanded for four days, and the case is being referred to the district religious department.
