Actress Hanez Suraya, 30, has confirmed that she is pregnant but is not revealing how many weeks she is into the pregnancy. The beauty, who tied the knot with Romie Razin Adilha on March 14, said she did not mean to keep her pregnancy a secret but would share more after passing the first trimester stage.

A 20-year-old student was nearly raped by an "orang minyak" (oily man) who had trespassed at a female dormitory of a university in Bangi. The suspect tried to force himself into the victim but failed, and fled when several people heard the her scream and came to her rescue. The man then climbed up a tree to avoid getting caught. "Fifteen minutes later, the suspect fell after the tree branch broke and he fractured his arm," Asst Comm Ab Rashid said. An initial probe revealed that he was a construction worker with two criminal records involving drug and molestation.
