Foreigner jumps from apartment to escape angry husband over affair


A foreign worker jumped from the fourth storey of a building after being chased by five men for allegedly having an affair with a married woman. The five suspects, including the woman’s husband, went to an apartment in Serdang after learning that the woman had been staying there for a few days. They beat the 26-year-old foreigner and took his belongings including his passport, handphone, and about RM200 in the 3pm incident on April 4. In his bid to escape from the suspects, the foreigner jumped out from the apartment and suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he received seven stitches on his head. Police reports had been lodged by both sides.

Passers-by rushed to the aid of a pregnant woman who fell down from her motorbike during an accident in Ipoh. The police woman was involved in the accident with a car at about 1pm on Wednesday. Two passers-by held an umbrella while another fanned her due to the hot weather. Some tried to divert the traffic while waiting for the ambulance. The woman was then rushed to a nearby hospital.
