The survey, conducted by public opinion research centre Endeavour-MGC, involved 1,068 respondents from a total of 1,910,841 registered Malay voters in Selangor.

According to the poll, 50% of the respondents agree that Anwar is the best suited person to be prime minister right now, followed by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin with 16% of the vote, and Datuk Seri Najib Razak with 9%, while Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Khairy Jamaluddin tied at 6%.

It also says that 75% feel Pakatan should choose Amirudin as the mentri besar again if the coalition wins the state polls.

Next best suited to be mentri besar is former Health minister Khairy Jamaluddin with 24% votes after Amirudin who gained 46% votes from the respondents. Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz is third choice with 10% of the votes.

Of the total respondents, 45% of them are from the B40 group with an income of RM4,850 and below; 40% from the M40 group with a monthly income between RM4,850 and RM10,959; the remaining 15% are from the T20 group making RM10,959 and above monthly.
