Diving into the unknown


SHE made a living out of her passion for scuba diving for the past 10 years.And now, it is a dive into the unknown for diving instructor Doreen Loo, 39. She lost her job after her company couldn’t afford to pay salaries – a fate similar tourism players are facing during these hard times.

“For now, I’m still able to put food on the table, with a roof over my head. So I am thankful. But for how long more, I don’t know, ” Loo says.
