2027 Taiwan Fellowship


> The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Malaysia is calling for applications for its 2027 Taiwan Fellowship.

> Research topics should be related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, mainland China, the Asia Pacific and sinology.

> Proposals should include Taiwan government policies or related issues such as integrated diplomacy, energy security, transnational repression, undersea cables and the resilience of global supply chains.

> Malaysian scholars, including professors, associate professors, senior lecturers, lecturers, PhD candidates and research fellows with relevant expertise, are encouraged to apply.

> The duration of the fellowship is three months to one year, depending on the recipient’s research proposal.

> The fellowship package covers a monthly stipend ranging from NTD50,000 to NTD60,000 (RM6,250 to RM7,500), a direct round-trip economy-class air ticket between Malaysia and Taiwan, and accident insurance coverage.

> Applicants must complete the online application at http://taiwanfellowship.ncl.edu.tw/eng/apply01.aspx.

> Hard copies of all application materials and supporting documents must then be sent to: TECO in Malaysia, Level 7, Menara Yayasan Tun Razak, 200, Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur.
