> Applications for the YTL Foundation Scholarship 2026 are now open.

> Established in 1997, the scholarship supports deserving Malaysians in pursuing their first undergraduate degree in Malaysia.

> By empowering talented young Malaysians with access to quality education and development opportunities, the foundation aims to nurture future leaders who will uplift communities, drive progress and contribute meaningfully to the nation.

> Scholars also benefit from structured leadership and personal development programmes, mentorship and coaching, as well as annual paid internship opportunities within the YTL Group.

> To support prospective applicants, the foundation will host a series of online info sessions throughout April. > The scholarship is open to Malaysian students who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential and genuine financial need.

> Eligible applicants must possess qualifications such as SPM or IGCSE, STPM, matriculation, foundation, A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate, and must be pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree in Malaysia.

> Successful scholars will receive comprehensive support, including full tuition fee coverage, living allowances, as well as allowances for essential learning tools such as a laptop and a phone or data plan.

> In addition, one exceptional scholar each year may be selected for the Yeoh Tiong Lay Award, an overseas scholarship granted to a candidate who demonstrates holistic excellence, strong values, altruism, and meaningful community engagement alongside academic achievement.
