Shah Alam Line pulls in commuters

The Shah Alam Line operates across some 37.8km along the western corridor of the Klang Valley, connecting Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang.

The first day of operations of the Shah Alam Line (LRT3) attracted strong public interest, with commuters, families and rail enthusiasts flocking to stations to experience the new service.

Many were seen taking photographs of the trains and capturing memories of their inaugural journeys.

Spanning 37.8km, the line runs between Johan Setia Station in Klang and Bandar Utama Station in Petaling Jaya, connecting the western corridor of the Klang Valley, including Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang.

The new line is expected to improve connectivity and provide commuters with a more convenient travel option in Selangor.

To encourage more people to experience the service, free rides on the Shah Alam Line are being offered until July 31.
