Brewery’s campaign takes inspiration from M’sian weather

The customised van will make several stops in the Klang Valley.

A BREWERY here has launched its “Brewed to Defy the Heat” campaign.

Tiger Beer’s campaign runs until May 31.

At the heart of the campaign is a customised Kombi van, designed in collaboration with Malaysian street artist Kenji Chai, who is known for his bold, character-driven street illustration style that captures everyday Malaysian energy.

The Kombi van’s next stops are Damansara Heights (today), Eko Cheras mall (tomorrow), Bangsar Telawi Street (May 21), Pavilion Bukit Jalil (May 22) and Changkat Bukit Bintang (May 23).

At each stop, the Kombi transforms into a hands-on challenge experience, inviting fans to step in and take on a fast-paced skill activity.

As part of the collaboration with Tiger Beer, Chai also painted a themed mural at the Zhong Shan Building in Kuala Lumpur.

“Tiger Beer was born in the tropics and the heat has always been part of life here,” said Tiger Beer Malaysia marketing manager Julie Kuan.

“What stands out is how people continue to show up, come together and make the most of it, and Tiger Beer has always been there in those moments.”

The experience extends to participating restaurants, pubs and bars in peninsular Malaysia.

Until May 31, purchases of Tiger Beer products earn an entry to the “Brewed to Defy the Heat” campaign for a chance to win Dyson Air Purifier Fans or Tiger 8l cooler boxes.

Participants can scan the QR code at the outlet and submit their receipts via uncage.tigerbeer.com to complete their entries.
