A PROPERTY developer aims to make a lasting difference in the lives of those in need, via an outreach initiative in Seremban, Negri Sembilan, providing essential food supplies and daily necessities.

Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd’s Matrix Foodbank Drive 5.0, in collaboration with Kechara Soup Kitchen and the police, is helping 167 families in several residential areas.

During the launch at Arena Square, Matrix Concepts co-chief executive officer (property development) Chai Keng Wai said the initiative “demonstrates how effective collaboration between the public and private sectors can create a meaningful and lasting impact”.

Also present was state deputy police chief SAC Mohd Nasharudin Mohd Shariff.

Chai said the programme received huge support from the police with 92 personnel mobilised from various districts.

“Their strong participation underscores the depth of commitment and collaboration in ensuring the success of this initiative,” he said.

Aid was also delivered to seven former police personnel, reflecting a continued effort to honour those who dedicated their lives to protecting the nation.

The initiative underscored the developer’s commitment to environmental, social and governance principles, where community well-being remained a key pillar, said Chan.

“Matrix Concepts remains committed to expanding such initiatives, reaching more communities and inspiring broader participation across sectors.”
