A COVERED futsal court in Kampung Chengal Lempong, Kuantan in Pahang, built under the “Kampung Angkat Madani” initiative, is now ready for use.

“The court was built using RM500,000 allocated to the village, to provide a safe sports facility for the local community while supporting youth activities.

“It is hoped it will be fully utilised to promote a healthy lifestyle and strengthen community spirit,” Bernama reported the Prime Minister’s political secretary Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi as saying, during a visit to the court.

He was joined by Pahang Implementation Coordination Unit director Datuk Razihan Adzharuddin and staff.

The “Madani adopted village” programme, inspired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, focuses on improving basic infrastructure and public facilities to strengthen social well-being, youth development, and community resilience, especially in rural areas.
