BUSINESSES can now enjoy a workspace equipped with a high-performance computing hub powered by top-tier graphics processing unit (GPU) in Kuala Lumpur, with the launch of V Gallant’s GPU Lounge in KL Eco City.

V Gallant chief operating officer Dr Chan Wai Mun said the launch was a step towards more usable and accessible advanced artificial intelligence (AI) not only for specialists, but also for organisations that wish to apply the technology in their everyday operations.

“Our GPU Lounge is more than just a regular physical workspace.

“It is designed as a hands-on environment where ideas can be tested, prototypes can be built and teams can learn by doing.

“It is intended to provide organisations with a practical starting point with access to high-performance GPUs that support more meaningful AI experimentation,” Chan said at the launch.

A total of 10 rooms are available to be rented in the lounge, with seven two-pax rooms (RM5 per hour), one four-pax room (RM7 per hour) and two six-pax rooms (RM13 per hour).

The two-pax and four-pax rooms come with GPU of 24GB in video random access memory (VRAM) while the six-pax rooms come with GPU of 96GB in VRAM.

At the event, Chan also announced the beta testing of V Gallant’s intelligence platform called Intelli-X, designed to turn scattered business information into actionable and conversational insights.

“It makes business insights more accessible while keeping privacy and control in focus,” he said.

He added that the company also offered AI consulting services and engineering support, where a team of local AI engineers and specialists partners with businesses to design, build and deploy custom and production-ready AI solutions tailored to their workflows.

“We believe that AI enablement is not built on isolation, which is why partnerships are a core part of how we turn ideas into outcomes that organisations can enjoy,” said Chan.

The event also saw the signing of memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Khalifa Intelligence, USCI College and Favoriot.

Also present at the launch were V Gallant chief executive officer (CEO) Audrey Liu, chief technology officer Jason Thye, Khalifa Intelligence managing director Toh Puan Wan Hidayah Wan Ismail, One Doc group chairman Datuk Seri Dr Tengku Baderul Zaman Ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billal Shah, Favoriot CEO Dr Mazlan Abbas and UCSI College CEO Associate Professor Dr Chong Aik Lee.

In her opening speech, Wan Hidayah praised V Gallant’s GPU Lounge as being able to provide access to the computing power organisations need to test the real power of AI.

“This access could build stronger confidence among organisations to use advanced AI in their operations.

“It also signals that Malaysia is serious in building AI capabilities from ground up.

“We can’t build AI without the necessary computing power, and having strong infrastructure like the GPU Lounge can bridge the gap,” she added.
