THE Life & The City podcast returns for its third season and it’s kicking off on a familiar frequency.

In the season opener, hosts Aida Ahmad and Farid Wahab tune into the enduring power of radio and why it still holds its place in today’s fast-moving, digital-first world.

Joining them is 988FM deejay Wang Piau Ming, better known as DJ PM – a veteran broadcaster whose voice has been a steady companion to listeners for years.

Released in conjunction with World Radio Day on Feb 13, the episode pulls back the curtains on life behind the microphone.

From the shock of hearing his own voice on air to the less glamorous realities behind the glowing “On Air” sign, DJ PM reflects on finding his calling and the craft behind sounding natural, night after night.

He also shares the heart behind Huggy Moment, his nightly show that encourages listeners to slow down, reflect and give themselves credit for the day.

The Life & The City podcast series airs fortnightly, spotlighting issues that matter to urbanites.
