SJK (C) Choong Wen in Jalan Kelang Lama, Kuala Lumpur, will host its Mid-Autumn Carnival on Sept 28, from 9am to 4pm, at the school grounds.

The event themed “Sharing Love this Mid-Autumn: One Choong Wen Family” is open to the public, with free admission.

The carnival will feature around 100 stalls offering food, games and cultural activities.

Highlights include a lantern riddle challenge, mooncake-making workshops, face painting, and creative clay crafts.

For adventurous visitors, attractions such as a Moonlight Mansion haunted house, a maze and obstacle course will provide interactive fun with prizes available for participants who complete the challenges.

Families can also enjoy board games and a mini petting zoo.

The school’s pupils will present a 24 festive drum show, unicycling, traditional dances, and cheerleading.

The organisers said the carnival aims to promote cultural appreciation and strengthen family bonds by providing an educational yet festive platform for both children and parents to enjoy.
