New voice to represent Chinese school HMs

AT risk of being de-registered, the leaders of the National Union of Heads of Schools have finally succeeded in registering a new body called the National Society of SJKC Headmasters, Sin Chew Daily reported.

In his retirement speech on Wednesday, the union’s outgoing president Wong Sheet Fatt said the union was facing de-registration as it had a hard time finding a replacement who was a headmaster and also a non-university graduate.
