The quiet, relaxing ambience of At 137 Bar in Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South provides the perfect backdrop for a laid-back meet-up, whether for business or leisure.
On the drinks menu is a new gin cocktail series which offers four flavours, namely grapefruit, strawberry, cucumber and asam boi lemon, with Bombay Sapphire gin as the base.
The use of fresh fruit lends different notes to the gin’s botanicals, further enhancing its flavour profile.
The cucumber adds a refreshing hint of freshness while the strawberry provides a mild sweetness.
Grapefruit layers the gin with a pleasing bitterness.
The asam boi lemon, a local favourite, brings together a perfect harmony of saltiness, sourness and sweetness.
Hotel food and beverage manager Vesvanathan Sunderajaan said the series offered guests refreshing cocktail options for the warm weather.
“Abroad, guests tend to prefer refreshing cocktails during the summer.
“The four gin combinations provide a variety of flavours to suit different palates,” he said.
The series will be available throughout this month.

Asam Boi Mojito is a mix of rum, lime cubes, brown sugar, asam boi syrup and a sweet- sour mix, topped with 7-Up.
The combination of 7-Up and asam boi is a beloved local favourite, and the drink offers a unique regional twist on a classic.
Jack Forest is a delightful concoction of rum, pineapple, blue curacao and coconut.
The bluish concoction has a hint of sweetness from the coconut mixed with tropical flavours, reminiscent of a pina colada.
Green Paradise lives up to its name, combining rum, melon liqueur, triple sec and orange juice for a refreshing, vibrant tipple.
For the more adventurous, the Lamborghini is a dramatic flaming shot of Kahlua, Baileys, blue curacao, and anise liqueurs that are set ablaze right at the table.
