MBSJ to carry out tree maintenance at 18 locations


THE Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) will begin tree maintenance works this month in 18 locations to reduce the risk of falling trees.

In a statement on Wednesday (Oct 9), the council said the work is expected to last four months and involve pruning, assessing tree structures and removing high-risk trees.

It will be carried out in parts of Subang Jaya, Puchong, Kinrara and Seri Kembangan.

Areas covered are:

Subang Jaya:

Jalan SS 13/1, Jalan SS 14/1A, Jalan SS 15/2, Jalan SS 15/5A, Jalan SS 17/2A, Jalan SS 19/4A, Jalan Utama Wangsa Baiduri, Persiaran Jengka.

Jalan USJ 9/1, USJ 14 and Jalan USJ 16.

Jalan USJ 6/3, Jalan USJ 6/2, Jalan TP 1/1 and Persiaran Subang.

Jalan Putra Indah, Luar Pangsapuri Seri Mutiara, Jalan Putra Permai and Jalan Putra Setia.

Jalan Putra Bistari 2/1, Putra Height.

Puchong:

Jalan TPP 5, TPP 6, Jalan Sri Puchong, Jalan Denai and Taman Tasik Sri Aman.

Jalan PPK 1, PPK 2, Persimpangan Kinrara Seksyen 3 and Jalan Pipit 3.

Jalan Tiong 6, Taman Merak1, Jalan Utama Merbuk, Jalan Kenari 17 and Taman Kasawari 6.

Persiaran Saujana Puchong, Saujana Puchong 3/11, Saujana Puchong 9 and Saujana Puchong 10.

Jalan Utama 1/9, Jalan Utama 2/7, Jalan Utama 2/18, Puchong Utama 6/1, Puchong Utama 12/1, Puchong Utama 12/2, Taman Puchong Utama 7 and Lingkaran Putra Prima, Persiaran Puchong Utama.

Jalan Taman Tasik Prima, Lingkaran Putra Prima, Persiaran Puchong Permai, Jalan Permai 1, Jalan Permai 2 and Jalan Permai 3.

Jalan Puteri 9, Jalan Puteri 12. Jalan Puteri 5/1 and Taman Permainan Puteri 10/9.

Jalan Bandar, Persiaran Puteri 1 and Jalan Wawasan 5/2.

Kinrara:

Jalan BK 1/1, BK 2/7, BK 5A/1, and BK 5/6.

Seri Kembangan:

Jalan PBS 14/2, 14/6, 14/16, and Jalan Damai 1/7.

Jalan Utama Seri Serdang, Jalan Serdang Selatan, Jalan 18/38, 18/42, Perusahaan Utama 1, Jalan 3/15 Serdang Jaya, and Jalan SR 7/4, 7/9 Taman Serdang Raya.

Jalan SB Indah 1, 2, 3, and 4, Taman Sungai Besi Indah.

MBSJ said it will monitor the work on-site as well as traffic flow in the areas concerned.

Road users are advised to exercise caution when passing through these areas.
