A POPULAR coffee chain has introduced its latest beverage – Cham Latte.

Zus Coffee, a tech-enabled Malaysian coffee chain, pays homage to the beloved Malaysian drink of cham, a blend of tea and coffee cherished by generations.

Cham represents the perfect fusion of flavours, with its harmonious balance of robust coffee and delicate tea.

It symbolises unity by combining two distinct elements to create something truly special.

Zus Coffee introduced the Cham Latte to honour tradition while embracing innovation, inviting all Malaysians to indulge in a renewed cham experience.

“We are excited to introduce the Cham Latte, our take on a beloved Malaysian drink at local coffeeshops adapted for the modern taste,” said Zus Coffee co-founder and head of barista Terence Ho.

“By using first brewed premium tea leaves and strong coffee beans, we have created a beverage that is both familiar and innovative, providing a special experience that honours our Malaysian heritage.

“We’re excited to offer customers the choice to enjoy it as a traditional cham or as a milk tea, catering to different preferences.

“Our cham is further elevated with exclusive flavours, thus enhancing the traditional experience.”

The Cham Latte combines the rich, bold taste of the brand’s high-quality coffee with the smooth, soothing flavours of premium tea leaves.

This blend features three types of tea leaves – jasmine, oolong and white peach oolong.

The launch of the Cham Latte also kicks off the countdown for Zus Coffee’s Made In Malaysia nationwide tour which starts on Aug 24 in Kuching, Sarawak.

The tour will then progress to all parts of Malaysia, including Sabah and other states in Peninsular Malaysia.

Cham Latte is available now at all Zus Coffee locations nationwide.
