Oil-and-gas firm seeks to grow skills of budding entrepreneurs

Shell LiveWIRE Malaysia is calling on budding entrepreneurs from across Malaysia to be part of this game-changer.

Started in 2015, Shell LiveWIRE Malaysia engages with those who are committed to starting and growing their business ideas.

The programme takes entrepreneurs through a series of workshops that will assist them in generating or enhancing their ideas, testing their business models and preparing them to be successful business owners.

Participants will then take part in a pitching workshop and competition aimed at providing business growth skills.

Shell is seeking entrepreneurs whose ideas will improve lives from the aspects of environmental sustainability, social impact and business innovation.

The programme will run in Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and the Klang Valley.

State-level winners will receive seed grants of RM10,000 to then compete at national level for an additional RM30,000 prize.

Alongside the grant, winners will also be mentored by facilitators over the ensuing three years and stand a chance to be absorbed into Shell’s supply chain and partner with Shell retailers.
