Eighth edition of award to recognise sustainable projects invites entries

Junior Chamber International (Bandar Klang) is hosting the 2024 JCI Malaysia Sustainable Development Award (JCIM SDA).

This year marks the 8th edition of the award that recognises outstanding sustainable projects by Malaysian companies and organisations.

The launch of 2024 JCIM SDA was hosted by JCI Bandar Kajang at Bangi Avenue Convention Centre in Selangor.

2024 JCIM SDA organising chairman Khor Chii Jazz said the goal of the award was to raise awareness of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by recognising organisations actively contributing to their advancement.

JCIM SDA encourages businesses worldwide to play a role in global poverty eradication, environmental protection and ensuring prosperity and peace.

The award is open for participation to all private limited companies, local authorities, government departments, music councils, international schools, institutions, social entrepreneurs, universities, non-profit organisations, clubs and associations.

All participants must submit their entries through sda.jcimalaysia.cc

The award ceremony is scheduled for Sept 22.
