This October, Bar Tailor is flexing its creativity by adding a few Halloween-inspired cocktails and food.

Check out the 6 Shots to Heaven which comes with six different shots of Midori, Blue Curacao, Aperol, Vodka and Baileys, Jameson whiskey and Jagermeister as well as a skull-like container filled with snacks.

Also, try Blood on Hand cocktail that is mixed with Blue Curacao, Midori, Disarano Ameratto, hibiscus syrup, lime juice, egg white and red spray.

Visitors can also order the Spook-etti featuring squid ink spaghetti.

Having trouble finding the entrance to the speakeasy bar? Look out for the tailor’s mannequin disguised as a painting at the doorway.

Guests will be surprised to find that the bar also has bespoke tailoring service on its mezzanine floor, on top of personalised cocktails upon request.

Other signature cocktails are available, too.

For example, Have You Met Jane is a gin-based cocktail mixed with Falernum syrup liqueur and kaffir lime while the more spirit-forward Tuxedo Flame is a mix of Jameson whiskey with ginger and peach-flavoured liqueur.

A wide wine selection as well as some rare gems are available for vino lovers.

A Halloween celebration is taking place on Oct 30 and 31 featuring a food challenge, free tarot card reading as well as Halloween-inspired cocktails and shots.

The bar’s name is not to be mistaken with the nine-tailed fox spirit in Oriental legends.

It refers to nine signature cocktails depicting fairy tale characters. For example, Tinkerbell cocktail is made with Beefeater gin with lychee, lemongrass and Blue Curacao, presented with a tiny fairy perched on the rim.

The Aladdin cocktail, on the other hand, is made with Smirnoff Vodka with cili padi (bird’s eye chilli), tropical fruits and curry leaves for hints of herb and spice.

This October, the bar is showcasing a range of Halloween-inspired cocktails. Check out the Bloody Witch drink with coconut liqueur, Baileys Irish Cream, lychee and lime syrup.

On Oct 30 and 31, other creepy drinks and food challenges will be served up. Customers are encouraged to come dressed for Halloween.

There will be 20% off for wines and whiskey for the two nights.

A rock wall on top of the stairs is the perfect camouflage for Sip Society but inside, the retro-styled cocktail bar painted jade green boasts a cosy setting with low ceilings, velvet sofas and wall-sized murals.

The bar’s motto is “Take Life One Sip at a Time” as it encourages patrons to leisurely enjoy their drinks. Bands perform live from Wednesday to Saturday.

Gin-based cocktails with mostly floral or fruity notes are to be expected here. Some of the signature tipples include Alhmonox Society, which is a mix of Jim Beam, chocolate bitters, popcorn syrup with a side of popcorn, and Sip the Cloud – a harmonious blend of Gordon’s Gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, orange bitters, egg white and cotton candy.

As it holds onto the idea of promoting cocktail enjoyment during the day, Dissolved Solids closes earlier than most bars. Cocktails fly off the counter in the afternoons, and pre-dinner drinks are popular too.One can find most types of beverages, ranging from speciality coffees, teas and mocktails to fermented beverages from time to time.

The signature cocktail is the Tesseract, which is a relatively complex cocktail featuring four distinctive flavour profiles in the drink – smokey, fruity, savoury and botanical.

The drink is a mix of mezcal, gin, cherry liquor, orange liquor, tonic, salt and citrus zest. The bar also sells clear ice and dehydrated fruits for anyone who is interested in making cocktails at home.
