A CHARITY concert dubbed: “Baroque Mania” will be held tomorrow in aid of the Montfort Youth Centre in Melaka.
The concert is part of the outreach programme of Melaka Youth String Orchestra (MYSO).
This year’s event will feature both senior and junior musicians coming together to engage and learn at the MYSO music camp before performing at the charity concert.
The first MYSO music camp was held in 2021 with a fundraising concert in aid of National Cancer Society Malaysia.
The second music camp and concert in 2022, “Music Through the Seasons”, was held in aid of Hospis Melaka.
The programme at the annual music camps gives aspiring musicians the opportunity to showcase their talents, deepen their appreciation for classical music and – through their participation in the charity concert – support a worthy cause.
The concert will be held at Manipal University College Malaysia Melaka campus and tickets are priced at RM200 (VIP), RM50 (adult) and RM30 (student).
