Chance to legalise past renovations

MPAJ will consider applications as long as owners of houses have not exceeded property boundaries.

AMPANG Jaya homeowners in Selangor have one last opportunity to obtain permits for their illegal house extensions, as the local council will no longer offer an olive branch beyond December 2024.

The home renovation legalising programme, now in its third cycle, is meant to help homeowners obtain retrospective approval for modifications within their property boundary as well as reduce illegal extensions and land encroachment.
