MPAJ gets its first woman president

THE Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) is now headed by Dr Ani Ahmad, making her the first woman president in its 30-year history.

Prior to her appointment, she was the former district officer (DO) of Hulu Langat, which included areas under the municipality’s jurisdiction and would be familiar with issues related to MPAJ.
