On the alert at over 400 flood hotspots


Johor Fire and Rescue Department personnel helping flood victims evacuate their homes during a flash flood at Kampung Baru Muafakat, Gelang Patah on Sept 25.

More than 400 flood hotspots in all 10 districts are being closely monitored, says Johor Fire and Rescue Department deputy director Mohd Rizal Buang.

He said the department had received a total of 12 emergency calls related to floods in the last three months alone.
