STUDENTS at SMK USJ12 in Persiaran Setia USJ 12, Selangor, are grateful for a new awning installed over a walkway outside the school.

They use the path daily to get to the bus stop and pedestrian bridge.

The awning was put up in May with RM20,000 contributed by Subang Jaya assemblyman Michelle Ng from her allocation.

“I am continually looking to improve the well-being of students in the constituency and this awning was built following a request from SMK USJ12 Parent-Teacher Association,” said Ng.

Subang Jaya city councillor for Zone 3, Lee Jen Uyin said this was a community initiative to improve safety for the people.
