A CONSUMER electronics company has launched its new office complete with an in-house service centre in Ipoh.

It is part of Sharp Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd’s ambitious localisation plan to set up local service centres in each state in Malaysia.

The company is targeting to establish up to nine service centres nationwide by next year.

In Ipoh, the launch was attended by Sharp deputy managing director Tok Sang Man, Sharp finance director Irene Tiew, Cocoro Life Malaysia chief operating officer Levity Suto, Perak Electrical & Radio Dealers’ Association (Perda) president Tony Toh Chong Soon and Vison Enterprise director David Yong Ying Choy.

Cocoro Life Service is Sharp’s authorised service centre.

The Cocoro Life app features an ewarranty service that allows users to register their devices and enables them to keep track of the warranty of their devices easily.

With the app, customers can set appointments, follow up on servicing, check prices of parts and chat with the service team.

Sharp’s new Ipoh office will handle all product repairs and servicing.

Sharp will be giving away mystery gifts to the first 100 members who download the Cocoro Life app, and register as Cocoro Life members.

The gifts can be redeemed immediately at the new Sharp Ipoh office. Redemption is on a first-come-first-served basis.

The call centre can be reached at 03-8026 6228 from 9am to 6pm, Mondays to Fridays.
