PROPERTY developer Mah Sing Group Bhd celebrated the early completion of its projects and vacant possession delivery.

Towers A and B of the 4.55ha five-tower development M Vertica in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur are targeted to be fully handed over to residents by next year.

“Since the Covid-19 outbreak, buyers perceive homes differently, whereby quality of living has become more important as more time is now spent at home,” Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said during an appreciation dinner for bankers, real estate agents and partners at M Vertica.

“I believe that buyers will be happy to enjoy the biggest facilities podium in Kuala Lumpur at this moment, with over 40 facilities catering to all age groups.

The extensive landscaping will also create a restful environment for our homeowners.”

Located near LRT and MRT stations and major roads, M Vertica is easily accessible to surrounding amenities such as Aeon Taman Maluri, Sunway Velocity, Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur and SRJK(C) Naam Kheung.

M Vertica’s residential towers are designed to have a view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline.

At the 49-floor project, all blocks are served by high-performance lifts.

In line with Mah Sing’s sustainability agenda, the project has utilised reusable aluminium for waste reduction.

It has also implemented the Self Climbing Platform (SCP), where steel structures act as safety and protection for external architecture and façade work, among others.

Green features implemented in the project include a stream pneumatic waste management system, rainwater harvesting for landscape irrigation, cross natural ventilation in common corridors and electrical vehicle charging stations.

“M Vertica is now more than 80% taken up,” said Mah Sing group chief executive officer Datuk Ho Hon Sang.

Also present were Mah Sing executive director Datuk Seri Leong Yuet Mei, group strategy and operations director Rachel Leong, property subsidiaries chief executive officer Yeoh Chee Beng, executive director Datuk Steven Ng and group strategy and operations director Lionel Leong.
