Getting it right with affordable cookware

NOTHING beats a home-cooked meal that is easy to make.

This Ramadan, those who shop at Aeon can whip up dishes using quality and affordable cookware by Neoflam.

Launched at Aeon Mall Shah Alam in collaboration with celebrity chef Datuk Redzuawan Ismail, famously known as Chef Wan, the cookware from South Korea is said to be long-lasting, lightweight and easy to use, thanks to its non-stick Ecolon technology.

Under the Chef Wan-Neoflam Star Rewards Programme, customers are introduced to a selected array of modern cookware at affordable prices.

Aeon chief merchandising and marketing officer Low Ngai Yuen said Chef Wan exclusively endorsed the Neoflam cookware for Aeon.

“In line with Chef Wan’s motto of ‘good food brings people together’, we believe the key to good cooking is having good cooking gear.

“We want to make durable cookware within reach and more affordable, especially for the budget-cautious.

“Given that we are in the month of Ramadan, home-cooked meals will be all the more significant to live up to a ‘Raya Penuh Makna’,” said Low, adding that Neoflam cookware was available at Aeon outlets nationwide.

Chef Wan plans to help those in the lower-income bracket with fresh, ready-prepared food items such as sauces that can just be heated up and eaten with piping hot rice.

The programme runs in tandem with Aeon’s Ramadan-Raya campaign, “Raya Penuh Makna”, and is available on all Aeon platforms and in outlets nationwide.

Previously known as Aeon Customer Loyalty Programme, the Star Rewards Programme allows customers to collect stamps on every offline and online purchase at Aeon, and they can exchange them to buy Neoflam cookware.

Through this programme, non-member customers will get a stamp while members will be given two for every RM30 spent at any Aeon outlet.

Those who purchase via the iAeon app will get electronic stamps.

Aeon members who buy using Aeon Member Plus, Aeon Credit Card or Aeon Wallet will get three stamps.

Customers who manage to collect a minimum number of stamps (20 physical stamps for non-members, 15 for Aeon members and eight electronic stamps for online customers) are entitled to exchange those for Neoflam’s cookware products.
