KLUANG: The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) has ordered an oil palm mill in Kluang, Johor, to halt operations immediately after its licence was suspended for discharging industrial waste into Sungai Sembrong.
Its director-general Dr Ahmad Parveez Ghulam Kadir said the mill was required to stop operating until the Johor Department of Environment (DOE) lifts the suspension on its licence.
