It pays to win gold at SEA Games

TO SHOW appreciation for Penang’s athletes, the state government presented RM23,500 in incentives to eight state players who contributed gold medals in the SEA Games under its Skim Kemenangan Sukan Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang (Skimas).

Diver Ooi Tze Liang, who won a gold medal in the Men’s 3m springboard individual at New Clark City Aquatic Centre in the Philippines, received RM9,000.
