LIFE has been hard for factory workers following the collection of parking fees at the Free Industrial Zones (FTZ) 1,2, 3 and 4, Bayan Lepas Industrial Park and Technoplex in Penang.
Besides financially burdened by the move, many workers have been coming early just to get free parking inside the workplace compounds, said Cheah Chin Woon.
