MELAKA: Sungai Melaka or fondly known as “Venice of the East” is not a dirty waterway.
State public works, transportation and public utilities committee chairman Datuk Mohd Sofi Abdul Wahab said Sungai Melaka was certified as a clean river by the Water, Land and Natural Resources Ministry.
