Discourse highlights importance of mangrove conservation

Dr Aldrie aims to provide a platform for academicians, researchers and other related agencies to discuss and share their works and ideas on mangroves.

DESPITE the importance of mangrove forest to the ecosystem, it is among the most threatened habitats worldwide.

During the MyMangrove Monthly Discourse at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), senior lecturer Dr Harinder Rai Singh reiterated this point in his presentation “Mangroves: The Importance of Replanting to Fauna, Fisheries, Livelihoods, et cetera.”
