Bukit Mertajam to be smart city


Bukit Mertajam will be the first digital city in the state next year.

BUKIT Mertajam on the Penang mainland is set to be the first smart city in the state, said women and family development, and gender inclusiveness committee chairman Chong Eng.

She said an area covering 12km by 18km in Bukit Mertajam would be transformed into a smart city by August next year under the BM Digital Initiative.
