THE Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) has begun its flood mitigation work in Seri Kembangan following heavy rain that flooded several areas on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, MPSJ cleaned drains in the Taman Serdang Jaya residential area and two schools affected by floods during a two-hour downpour on April 2. The residential area and schools were affected because of the backflow of water as levels rose high to 156mm at Sungai Kuyoh.
