FT minister backs mayor’s decision on clamping

FEDERAL Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad says he fully supports Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan’s decision to take over wheel-clamping operations from the appointed parking operator.

He said despite a conflict in the contractual agreement, he felt the mayor did the right thing in ensuring the public’s needs were prioritised.
